Chicken Fried Steak With Queso Gravy… What On Earth Is Going On?

We recently stumbled across the recipe on Facebook and instantly decided we needed to try it as soon as we possibly could. So later that day I started running artound the house trying to make sure that I have everything need to be able to make the recipe. After about 15 minutes of looking, I finally located all of the ingredients needed. Let’s be real, almost everyone loves Country Fried Steak.. I know you do!(Hence why you are here reading the recipe). However, never in a million years would I have thought about placing some queso onto my country fried steak. However, here we are and I am glad that I have decided to make it because by far the best way I have ever had country fried steak

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds beef top round, cut into 8 equal-size pieces
  • Neutral oil , like canola or grapeseed, for frying.
  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper , or to taste
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup whole milk
